Pogo pins are spring-loaded contacts ideal for making jigs or creating momentary, electrically solid connections. They are useful for programming and testing jigs, and can be used to JTAG program boards without soldering headers by inserting them into a 0.1" pitch IDC programming cable. These particular pins are suitable for most proto board or perf board due to their slim body diameter.
